The CNC Punching Machine Operator is responsible for setting up operating and monitoring CNC punching machines to manufacture sheet metal components according to engineering drawings production schedules and quality standards The operator ensures safe operation maintains machine efficiency and performs routine inspections to achieve production targets

- Set up and operate CNC punching machines e g Amada Trumpf Murata Prima Power etc
- Read and interpret engineering drawings work orders and production specifications
- Load and unload sheet metal materials using appropriate handling equipment
- Select and install punching tools dies and machine programs as required
- Verify machine settings dimensions and tolerances before production
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain quality and productivity
- Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using measuring instruments
- Ensure produced parts meet specified quality requirements and tolerances
- Identify and report machine malfunctions tooling issues and production defects
- Carry out routine machine cleaning lubrication and preventive maintenance
- Maintain accurate production records and inspection reports
- Follow all company safety procedures quality standards and housekeeping requirements
- Coordinate with supervisors programmers quality inspectors and maintenance personnel to resolve production issues

- High school diploma technical certificate or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience operating CNC punching machines in a sheet metal fabrication environment
- Knowledge of CNC machine controls and programming basics
- Ability to read technical drawings and understand GD T principles
- Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication processes and tooling
- Experience using precision measuring instruments such as vernier calipers micrometers and gauges
- Basic computer skills for machine operation and production reporting
