Job summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to operate, set up, and maintain CNC milling machines to produce high-quality components per specifications. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure precision manufacturing.

The role requires reading blueprints, selecting appropriate tools and fixtures, and performing routine maintenance while ensuring safety standards are followed.

Qualifications

• ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Tool & Die Making or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or in a similar precision machining role.
• Strong knowledge of CNC programming (Fashanu/Siemens/Maidenhead or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC machines (milling, turning, or grinding) to produce components per drawings and specs.
• Select tools, fixtures, and materials to ensure accurate production.
• Perform regular machine maintenance and troubleshoot to minimize downtime.
• Inspect finished products using precision measuring instruments for quality.
• Interpret and modify CNC programs to optimize machining processes.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to meet deadlines.
• Maintain records of production runs, tooling usage and machine parameters.
• Follow safety protocols and keep work area clean and organized.

• Inspect finished products using precision measuring instruments to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Interpret and modify CNC programs to optimize machining processes.
• Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to achieve project deadlines.
• Maintain accurate records of production runs tooling usage and machine parameters.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Essential Qualifications:
