Position Overview

The Civil and Structural Inspector role at Azizi Developments in Dubai focuses on on‑site inspection and quality oversight of civil and structural works for high‑rise and residential projects, ensuring full compliance with approved drawings, specifications, schedules and UAE authority requirements from construction through handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor all civil and structural construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings and project specifications.
• Supervise works related to excavation, concrete works, reinforcement, formwork, blockwork, plastering, finishes and external works.
• Ensure construction activities comply with UAE codes, standards and local authority regulations.
• Review and verify shop drawings, method statements, material submittals and test reports.
• Conduct regular site inspections, identify non‑conformities and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants and project stakeholders to resolve technical and site issues.
• Witness and verify material testing, concrete pouring activities and inspection requests.
• Prepare and maintain daily site reports, inspection reports and quality documentation.
• Monitor progress to ensure alignment with approved construction schedules and quality standards.
• Participate in snagging, de‑snagging and final inspections prior to project handover.
• Support authority inspections, audits and approval processes.

Ideal Profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• 8 to 15 years of relevant experience in civil and structural inspection roles.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working with consultant firms in the UAE.
• Strong experience on high‑rise and residential building projects.
• Sound knowledge of UAE construction practices, codes and standards.
• Familiarity with QA‑QC procedures, inspection test plans and site inspection processes.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications accurately.
