Job summary

Palo Alto Networks, Inc. is seeking a Channel Systems Engineer in Dubai to partner with Service Provider channel teams, enabling sales with market-leading managed cybersecurity solutions.

You will develop relationships, architect integrated solutions, and deliver PoC/RFP responses while staying ahead of evolving cyber threats. You will work with a fast-paced Systems Engineering Team, provide technical guidance to service providers, and contribute to product feedback for new features.

Qualifications

• Experience in a pre-sales role at a vendor.
• Preferably knowledge of Palo Alto Networks products with a focus on Next-Generation Firewall.
• Experience with systems installation configuration and administration of routers/switches UNIX/Linux and Windows-based systems.
• Experience that emphasizes L2-L4 Networks (L2 switching architectures including Spanning Tree IP routing with OSPF and BGP and L4 Load balancing).
• Understand and effectively present our security platform to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Prior experience selling network infrastructure-based security appliances including Firewalls, SSL/IPSec VPNs, Security Proxies and Caches.
• Experience and knowledge of modern network threats and malware, network forensics, automation tools and endpoint security technologies.
• Significant industry certifications are preferred (SANS CISSP CCIE etc).
• Ability to work within small creative teams as well as cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication skills written and spoken in English and Arabic

Responsibilities

• Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to Orange Group working with your Channel Business partner.
• Identify and document specific problems with prospective and current customers which can be solved through the deployment of integrated solutions.
• Architect and propose validated solutions which address the identified SASE problems in each environment.
• Delivering presentations and demonstrations to prospective and current clients; PoC and RFP/RFI responses.
• Ensure ongoing partner happiness, support and adoption.
• Continuous self-improvement and learning to maintain technical leadership of applicable technologies.
• Understand and differentiate against top competitors.
• Act as customer advocate for issues requiring technical assistance and follow up until resolution.
