Job summary

Client of Ignite Search and Selection in the UAE seeks a senior Document Control Lead to oversee project information and ensure all records are accurate and properly maintained within the CDE. The role requires hands-on platform experience and ISO 19650 knowledge.

You will supervise Document Controllers, coordinate with consultants/clients, and travel to Libya once a month. Strong communication and team-management skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 8+ years total document/information-management experience.
• Hands-on experience with Aconex, ProjectWise, ACC/BIM 360 or Asite.
• Strong ISO 19650 knowledge and CDE setup, workflows, permissions, approvals, naming, revisions and audits.
• Supervision of Document Controllers.
• Consultancy/PMC or client-side experience.
• Good communication, organisation and team-management skills.
• Flexibility to be based in UAE or home country with travel to Libya once a month.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the Document Control team to ensure records are accurate, traceable, and properly maintained in the CDE.
• Manage and maintain the CDE platform.
• Control workflows access and permissions.
• Ensure accurate document naming and revisions.
• Monitor submissions, reviews and approvals.
• Maintain audit trails and close audit findings.
• Train and support system users.
• Ensure ISO 19650 compliance.
• Manage project information through final handover.
