Job summary

AESG, a leading specialist consultancy with a global footprint, is hiring a Document Controller in Dubai. You will manage project documents across multiple projects, ensuring accuracy, version control and traceability in line with IMS/QMS procedures.

Proficiency in Aconex, SharePoint and ACC is essential. You will administer document management platforms, support engineering teams, and coordinate with clients and subconsultants to ensure timely submission of documentation while maintaining

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3-4 years' experience as a Document Controller in engineering/construction environment.
• Proficient in Aconex, SharePoint, ACC and Microsoft Office.
• Strong understanding of document control procedures, numbering conventions, and transmittal processes.

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage project document control systems (Aconex, SharePoint, ACC).
• Upload, register, code, and distribute incoming/outgoing project documentation.
• Track document status, revisions, and approvals across platforms.
• Issue transmittals and maintain document registers and audit trails.
• Coordinate with project teams, subconsultants, and clients for timely submission of documents.
• Monitor and report on outstanding actions and timelines.
• Maintain electronic and physical filing systems per IMS/QMS procedures.
• Provide training on document management platforms.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of project information.
