Job summary

MTEC Electromechanical Works LLC in Abu Dhabi, UAE is seeking a Lead Document Controller to manage project document workflows from registration to archival. You will ensure revisions are controlled, distributions are correct and that only current documents are used on site.

Responsibilities include establishing procedures, administering EDMS/CDE platforms, maintaining master registers, and producing dashboards. Strong experience in construction document control and ISO/audit support is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of document-control experience in construction/engineering.
• Experience with major MEP projects preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of EDMS/CDE like Aconex.
• Proficiency in transmittals, workflows, metadata and audit trails.
• Strong MS Office/Excel and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead project document-control procedures and filing structures.
• Manage transmittals, RFIs, submittals, drawings and metadata.
• Maintain registers for drawings, submittals, RFIs, NCRs.
• Audit document quality and approve status before issue.
• Prepare weekly/monthly document-control dashboards.
• Support audits with complete audit trails.
