Job summary

The American University in the Emirates (AUE) seeks a Campus Operations Officer to coordinate day‑to‑day campus services and ensure a safe, well‑maintained environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or higher with 3–5 years in campus operations or facilities, strong coordination and communication skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a UAE setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher diploma; 3–5 years in campus ops, facilities or admin.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills; able to multitask and work under pressure.
• Excellent communication, written and verbal; bilingual English/Arabic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor daily campus operations to ensure efficient service delivery for students, staff and visitors.
• Coordinate with suppliers and service providers for transportation and other campus support services; maintain related reports and schedules.
• Conduct regular campus inspections and report maintenance, safety, cleanliness, or operational issues to the relevant departments.
• Ensure campus facilities, classrooms and offices are maintained to university standards in collaboration with facilities teams.
• Maintain accurate records of assets, equipment, and inventory; coordinate procurement for furniture and equipment.
• Support implementation of campus policies, procedures and service standards; assist in managing campus stores and security matters.
• Prepare operational reports and provide updates to management; identify issues and propose practical improvements.
