BIM CAD Technician - Infrastructure Design in Dubai, United Arab Emirates is a Civil Engineering opportunity supporting multidisciplinary BIM and CAD delivery across utilities, wet utilities, roads, drainage, structures, and civil MEP interfaces. Parsons Corporation is hiring experienced mid-level and senior BIM CAD professionals to develop coordinated engineering drawings and models, manage digital design information, perform clash detection, and support accurate infrastructure project delivery from initial setup through completion.
Candidates should hold a diploma or Bachelor 's degree in Engineering. Applicants should have at least 4 years of relevant CAD drafting and BIM experience for mid-level positions, with senior candidates expected to bring up to 10 years of experience. Prior Middle East or UAE project experience is preferred. Candidates should have practical experience in one or more infrastructure disciplines including utilities, wet utilities, roads, drainage, structures, or MEP coordination within civil works. Experience with culverts, retaining walls, minor structures, road infrastructure, and underground utility networks will be valuable. Strong working knowledge of MicroStation, Autodesk Civil 3D, and AutoCAD is required. Applicants should understand BIM processes, model coordination, digital information management, and Level of Development requirements. Experience using Autodesk Navisworks for clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination is advantageous. Candidates familiar with ProjectWise and Autodesk Construction Cloud will be well suited to project Common Data Environment requirements. Applicants should be able to interpret engineering sketches, drawings, technical inputs, and design standards accurately. Excellent written and spoken English is required for coordination with multidisciplinary project teams.
