Job summary

One at Palm Jumeirah, part of Dorchester Collection, is seeking a Beach Host to deliver luxury service on the Dubai beachfront. You’ll delight guests, maintain beach and pool areas, assist with beverage service, and ensure a seamless, high-standard experience for Residents and their families.

English is the primary language, with additional languages an advantage. We value energy, presentation, organization, and a proactive approach in a fast-paced resort environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in luxury hotel, resort, beach club, or residential environment is preferred.
• Strong communication and guest service orientation.
• Ability to multitask and deliver thoughtful service with confidence.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the Dorchester Collection culture and bring the We Care philosophy to life.
• Create real connections with guests by leveraging team knowledge.
• Maintain cleanliness and setup of the Beach, Pool and Wellness areas.
• Assist with beverage delivery, opening/closing, and beach setup for residents and families.
• Handle special guest requests and occasions with discretion.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.

• You will greatly contribute to the processes and activities that create and promote the Dorchester Collection culture, values and bring the Company Philosophy “We Care” to life ensuring our employees and guests receive nothing but the best experience.
• You will create real connections and meaningful relationships by utilizing collective intelligence from all sources.
• A Beach Host is entrusted with maintaining the cleanliness of the Beach, Pool and Wellness Area. Though skillfully trained, they never lose sight of their ultimate reasonability, to create lifelong memories for our Residents and their families of One at Palm Jumeirah, all to ensure our guests receives nothing but the best experience.
• Your responsible is assisting with beverage delivery, open/closing and preparing the beach area for residents and their families inclusive of the set-up and breakdown of sun loungers and maintaining all areas to ensure our Residents and their families receive a seamless and consistently luxurious experience.
• Sometimes our guests have special requests involving and even special occasions.
• Our values of Passion, Personality, Respect, Working Together and Creativity guide us each and every day. As a Beach Host you’ll have the opportunity to bring these to life and continue to create our legacy.
• Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly. Our BeachHost must communicate with other departments in order to ensure the alignment remains.

What you'll bring

• You’ll bring your positive energy, friendly personality, and passion for service to the role and the Residences team.
• You have a talent for creating welcoming, relaxed environments, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation, multitasking efficiently, and delivering thoughtful service with natural confidence.
• You are well‑organized, adaptable, and proactive, with strong attention to detail and the ability work independently when required.
• You bring 1–2 years’ experience in a luxury hotel, resort, beach club, or residential environment, with a genuine desire to exceed resident expectations.
• Communication is what keeps our teams connected. You have clear, courteous communication skills, work collaboratively with colleagues, and maintain a calm, professional approach even during busy periods.
• English is the primary language used at One at Palm Jumeirah. You can comfortably communicate in this language. Additional languages are an advantage.
