Job summary

Dorchester Hotel Ltd. is seeking a Wellness Host in Dubai to provide exceptional service in maintaining the pool and wellness areas at AVA. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming and luxurious experience for residents and families, ensuring cleanliness and attending to beverage service.

The ideal candidate will bring professionalism, positive energy, and 1-2 years of experience in a luxury setting, demonstrating excellent communication skills and a detail-focused approach. This role requires a physically active presence and the ability to work across diverse environments.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ experience in a luxury hotel, resort, wellness, or residential environment.
• Able to communicate comfortably in English, additional languages are an advantage.
• Detail-focused and well-organized with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Pool and Wellness Areas with attentive and refined service.
• Prepare, open, close pool areas, assist with beverage service, and maintain cleanliness.

What you’ll do

• You will be responsible for maintaining the Pool and Wellness Areas at AVA at Palm Jumeirah while delivering an attentive, welcoming, and refined service, ensuring our residents and their families always enjoy a seamless and consistently luxurious wellness experience.
• You’ll also prepare, open, and close the pool and wellness areas, assist with beverage service, and set up and break down sun loungers, maintaining immaculate cleanliness, presentation, and comfort throughout the day. Though skillfully trained in operational excellence, you will never lose sight of your ultimate responsibility, to create memorable and relaxing moments for our residents and their families.

• This role is physically active and highly guest‑facing, requiring you to remain present, polished, and attentive throughout the shift, including standing and walking for extended periods, working across indoor and outdoor wellness areas, and supporting set‑up and service tasks in a warm environment.

• You bring 1–2 years’ experience in a luxury hotel, resort, wellness, or residential environment.
• Communication is what keeps our teams connected. You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, work collaboratively with colleagues, and contribute positively to a culture of teamwork and mutual respect.
• You are well‑organized, adaptable, and detail‑focused, able to work independently with minimal supervision while supporting the wider team.
• English is the primary language used at AVA. You can comfortably communicate in this language. Additional languages are an advantage.
