Job summary

DELANO Dubai is seeking a Commis I to join its luxury kitchen team on Bluewaters Island. You will support the kitchen brigade in prep, mise-en-place, and service assistance, while upholding DELANO's standards of taste, hygiene, and presentation.

Guided by senior chefs, you’ll develop culinary skills in a fast-paced luxury environment, ensuring consistency and quality across all dishes and maintaining a clean, compliant workstation.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of culinary techniques and kitchen operations.
• Attention to detail, cleanliness, and presentation.
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced kitchen.
• HACCP knowledge or food safety understanding.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and ingredient handling.
• Maintain station and mise-en-place for service.
• Support senior chefs during service.
• Uphold hygiene, safety, and brand standards.
• Handle stocking, labeling and rotation of ingredients.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations.
