Job summary

Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank seeks an experienced Relationship Manager to expand volumes within the bank’s portfolio and via referrals. You will prepare credit analyses, monitor client health, and liaise with risk, legal and operations teams to enable swift approvals.

The role emphasizes ethical sales, regulatory compliance, and delivering tailored banking solutions to corporate clients in the UAE. A Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and minimum five years banking relationship management experience.
• Good knowledge of ADIB’s Business Banking products & services.
• Experience in credit analyses.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of cross-sales.
• Understanding of UAE banking regulations and AML requirements.
• Strong client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Acquire volumes primarily from the bank’s existing portfolio and referrals to meet targets.
• Prepare high-standard call reports that are informative, presentable, conclusive and professional.
• Prepare credit applications with financial analyses and ensure CA’s align with policies and regulations.
• Analyze client facility requirements and monitor their financial health and industry.
• Ensure documentation for credit proposals is complete with adequate collateral.
• Initiate disbursements and adjustments of facilities.
• Ensure approved credit lines are available to clients.
• Coordinate with credit-risk, legal, operations and Trade finance for fast turnaround.
• Adhere to financing policy manuals and report exceptions.
• Conduct regular site visits and provide call reports accordingly.
• Assist consumers with informed decisions considering affordability and suitability.
• Maintain ethical sales practices and ensure customers understand terms before signing.
