Job summary

CBD is seeking an experienced corporate banking professional to manage and grow a portfolio of corporate clients in Abu Dhabi. You will lead relationship management in coordination with the Corporate Unit Head, negotiate credit lines, and ensure timely credit administration.

You will visit clients regularly, drive cross-selling across product lines, maintain high client satisfaction, and mentor junior staff while upholding internal controls and audit standards.

Qualifications

• 10 years of corporate banking experience, with at least 5 years in UAE (Abu Dhabi) markets.
• Lead and manage a portfolio of corporate clients to retain and grow relationships.
• Identify, solicit and acquire new corporate clients per approved strategies.
• Negotiate credit lines in line with underwriting standards and risk targets.
• Perform client visits and prepare timely call reports with relevant data.
• Drive cross selling of products through Client Service Team and Wealth/Consumer Banking referrals.
• Ensure timely credit administration, reviews, covenants, and monitoring.
• Lead a team of Assistant Relationship Managers and Support Officers; set targets and conduct reviews.
• Maintain internal audit compliance and high standards of uniformity.
