Job summary

Standard Chartered Dubai invites seasoned professionals in relationship management to join its Wealth and Retail Banking team. The role centers on developing new client relationships and servicing an existing portfolio with strong communication, negotiation, and customer service excellence.

You will onboard new clients, drive revenue targets, and ensure compliance with AML and SCA requirements while collaborating across risk and control functions to uphold high standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in handling Banking & Investment Products.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence outcomes.
• Networking ability to manage interdepartmental deliverables.
• Good understanding of the UAE business environment, ideally with HNI contacts.
• Adaptable to a multi-cultural environment.
• In-depth knowledge of capital markets and financial planning.
• SCA certified or completing certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Create strategic plans for revenue generation and business development while driving the Digital Agenda.
• Generate new business to meet targets for customers, volumes and revenue.
• Onboard NTB customers brought in by branches and direct sales teams.
• Create sales call plans to acquire large prospective customers.
• Maintain Sales MIS with calls, prospects and business activity.
• Manage customer expectations and reduce complaints while delivering professional service.
• Lead by example and collaborate with risk and control partners.
• Detect suspicious transactions and AML risks.
• Ensure compliance with Anti-Bribery, AML and related controls.
• Obtain SCA license within 6 months and complete CPD post-licensing.
