Job summary

Regional Container Lines Public Company Limited in Dubai seeks an experienced Sales/BD professional to identify and secure new customers, strengthen relationships, and expand bookings across port pairs. You will handle dry containers and special equipment, and develop business for reefers, OT, and FR.

You will conduct regular visits, follow up on enquiries, negotiate freight rates, and coordinate with Trade, Customer Service, and Operations to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Liner/NVOCC market in UAE.
• 4–6 years of liner sales/NVOCC experience in UAE market.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; confident with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel inside and outside UAE as required.

• Handle dry containers, special equipment (Reefer, OOG) Develop business for special equipment, including reefers, open-top containers (OT), and flat racks (FR).
• Conduct regular customer visits and follow up on enquiries to convert opportunities into confirmed bookings.
• Negotiate freight rates and commercial terms in line with company guidelines.
• Coordinate with Trade, Customer Service, and Operations teams to support customer requirements.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Liner/NVOCC market.
• 4–6 years of experience in liner sales/NVOCC in UAE market
• Strong Communication & Presentation Skills – communicates confidently and professionally with customers, management, agents, and internal stakeholders.
• Business Development Mindset – proactively identifies new customers, markets, trade opportunities, and avenues for increasing cargo volume and revenue.
• Commercial Acumen – understands freight rates, trade lanes, market conditions, customer profitability, and commercial implications of sales decisions. Strong Communication & Presentation Skills
• Strong Follow-Up & Execution – ensures leads, quotations, negotiations, bookings, and customer commitments are followed through to completion.

• Valid UAE driving license is a must and willing to travel in and outside UAE whenever required.
