Role Context

Reporting to the Chief Concierge, the Assistant Manager combines destination expertise with anticipatory luxury service and team leadership. The position helps guests experience Dubai according to their individual interests while supporting departmental operations, colleague development, engagement, scheduling, and consistent service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Chief Concierge with daily departmental operations.
• Lead and guide Concierge colleagues throughout assigned shifts.
• Anticipate guest preferences and recommend personalized experiences.
• Develop bespoke itineraries for leisure, dining, entertainment, shopping, and cultural interests.
• Maintain current knowledge of Dubai 's attractions, restaurants, venues, events, and transport options.
• Build trusted relationships with reputable local service providers.
• Coordinate restaurant reservations, tickets, transportation, tours, and special arrangements.
• Confirm booking details and follow up to prevent avoidable service failures.
• Respond creatively to unusual requests while respecting legal and ethical requirements.
• Maintain discreet and professional communication with guests.
• Monitor service quality across all concierge touchpoints.
• Handle complex enquiries and assist with service recovery.
• Escalate significant concerns to the Chief Concierge when appropriate.
• Share destination knowledge and service expertise with team members.
• Coach colleagues in anticipatory service and personalized recommendation techniques.
• Support training plans and professional development activities.
• Contribute to employee engagement initiatives.
• Assist with roster preparation and workforce planning.
• Conduct briefings and communicate daily priorities, events, and destination updates.

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor 's degree in a relevant discipline.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a concierge operation.
• Previous experience within a five-star luxury hotel or resort.
• Active membership with Les Clefs d 'Or is essential.
• Extensive and current knowledge of Dubai.
• Familiarity with leading attractions, dining destinations, entertainment venues, and cultural experiences.
• Proven ability to design personalized itineraries.
• Natural people leader with strong coaching and mentoring capabilities.
• Passionate about anticipatory guest service.
• Able to understand preferences and convert them into memorable experiences.
