The Lobby Hostess shapes the guest's first impression of Atlantis, The Palm by delivering an organized, welcoming, and attentive arrival experience. Working closely with Front Office and other resort departments, the role supports smooth lobby movement, anticipates immediate needs, and ensures guests receive clear guidance throughout check-in, check-out, and their wider stay.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome arriving guests with warmth, professionalism, and confident communication.
• Serve as an approachable first point of contact within the hotel lobby.
• Assist guests with directions to reception, rooms, restaurants, attractions, transportation points, and other resort facilities.
• Provide clear guidance during check-in and check-out processes.
• Monitor lobby activity and help maintain a smooth, organized flow of guests.
• Identify developing queues and coordinate with Front Office colleagues to minimize waiting times.
• Approach guests proactively and determine whether immediate assistance is required.
• Respond to general questions about Atlantis, The Palm facilities, services, dining, entertainment, and guest activities.
• Provide personalized recommendations based on guest interests, family needs, schedules, and preferences.
• Build positive relationships with guests through attentive and natural conversation.
• Recognize returning guests and support personalized service using available guest information.
• Anticipate service needs and coordinate assistance before concerns affect the guest experience.
• Handle straightforward requests directly and refer specialized matters to the appropriate department.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Concierge, Bell Services, Transportation, Guest Relations, and other operational teams.
• Assist families, elderly guests, VIP visitors, and guests requiring additional support.
• Maintain awareness of room readiness, lobby conditions, resort events, and operational updates.
• Support service recovery by listening carefully, remaining calm, and escalating concerns promptly.
• Record relevant guest preferences, requests, and follow-up requirements in approved hotel systems.
• Maintain a professional appearance and comply with resort grooming standards.
• Protect guest privacy and handle personal information with discretion.
• Remain visible, attentive, and available during busy arrival and departure periods.

Ideal Profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a guest-facing operational role within a five-star hotel.
• Previous experience in lobby hosting, front office, guest relations, concierge, or reception is preferred.
• Genuine passion for luxury hospitality and personalized guest service.
• Articulate, energetic, and confident when communicating with international guests.
• Strong spoken and written English skills.
• Professional appearance with excellent grooming and presentation.
