Job summary

Sarod Hospitality in Dubai is seeking a Junior Sous Chef to join the pre-opening team of our new concept. You will supervise kitchen sections, manage stock, and ensure food quality for events and VIP occasions.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Degree in Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management with 3–5 years in a luxury setting and proven leadership abilities for a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or related field.
• 3–5 years within the same role in a luxury resort or high-end restaurant.
• Proven leadership and team development skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise kitchen sections, manage stock, portion control, and cleanliness.
• Prepare food for special orders, buffets, VIP events, ensuring freshness.
• Oversee service quality and SOP adherence for guests.
• Conduct training sessions to develop team members' skills.
• Monitor grooming, hygiene and safety compliance; coach as needed.
• Lead by example and support kitchen operations during busy periods.
