Jumeirah Mina Al Salam in Dubai invites applications for a Junior Sous Chef role starting September 2026. You will supervise kitchen operations, ensure service excellence, and contribute to the resort's luxury dining experiences.

Ideal candidates have culinary training, HACCP knowledge, 3–5 years in luxury settings, and strong leadership. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a proactive, detail‑oriented approach are valued in our fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Culinary training from a reputable establishment (min 6 months) and HACCP training completed.
• 3–5 years of experience in luxury resort or high-end restaurant.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic operational/administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guest satisfaction through efficient, friendly service.
• Supervise and actively participate in kitchen operations.
• Manage kitchen sections: stock, portioning, quality, cleanliness, and waste.
• Monitor grooming, hygiene, safety, and SOP compliance; provide coaching.
• Prepare and oversee food for special orders and events.
• Lead by example and stay updated on culinary techniques.
