Job summary

Sarood Hospitality in Dubai is seeking a Head Chef to join the pre-opening team of our new concept. You will create innovative menus and oversee all aspects of food preparation to ensure quality and consistency.

Lead kitchen staff, manage inventory, enforce safety standards, and mentor the team. A Bachelor's degree in Catering or Hospitality and at least 3 years’ experience in standalone/branded restaurants are required, with strong leadership and menu development skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in catering, hospitality or related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as Chef de Cuisine/Head Chef in branded or standalone restaurants.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.

Responsibilities

• Create innovative and diverse menus reflecting trends and the concept.
• Oversee all aspects of food preparation ensuring freshness and consistency.
• Supervise kitchen staff, assign tasks, train, and ensure smooth service.
• Manage inventory, monitor stock rotation and minimize waste.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation and hygiene standards.
• Mentor and develop kitchen staff for career advancement.
