Architect - UAE Office

We are seeking an Architect with expertise in mixed-use residential hospitality recreational ecotourism and educational design and delivery. The role involves contributing significantly to both our design and delivery capability and participating actively in all stages of project development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in creating the project vision contributing to conceptual sketches and design reports.
  • Actively engage in the design process from the conceptual phase through to construction documentation ensuring design consistency and accuracy.
  • Prepare and develop drawings models images and other design-related documents. Engage in client meetings to discuss design requirements for new construction alterations or refurbishments.
  • Collaborate with global design teams and other associated specialists suppliers or subconsultants as required.
  • Coordinate design aspects across various disciplines subconsultants and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to project documents (including multi-disciplinary drawings design reports technical specifications etc.) ensuring they meet client requirements and industry standards.
  • Participate in the preparation of discipline drawings for submission to Statutory Authorities with an understanding of local & international codes regulations and submission requirements.
  • Develop models using SketchUp Lumion Revit and any other software that deemed necessary.
  • Apply Safety in Design principles throughout the design process and adhere to ISO 9001 Quality Assurance Structure in projects.
  • Support in mentoring less experienced staff and participate in professional development and Lessons Learned sessions.
Skill and Experience Requirements
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture.
  • Registered professional membership is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in architectural design on medium to large scale projects.
  • Experience from concept through to detailed design in various project types (residential commercial hospitality etc.).
  • Proficiency in the following programs is a must: Revit Photoshop Sketch-up (or similar 3D programs) Twinmotion or Lumion In-Design Illustrator Excel and other MS Office programs.
  • Knowledge of UAE building codes regulations and submission requirements.
  • Ability to be organized proactive and prioritize multiple tasks both independently and with the team.
  • Experience or familiarity with Middle East design and construction practices is advantageous.
  • Good project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills capable of collaborative work with clients and team members.
