University of Sharjah is seeking an Accounts Payable professional to manage payments, verify invoices, and maintain accurate financial records. The role involves processing payments to vendors and employees, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with university policies and bylaws.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance, 4–6 years UAE experience, and professional qualifications (CMA/ACCA/CIMA/ICAS).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional qualification (CMA, ACCA, CIMA, ICAS, etc.).
• 4–6 years UAE experience in a similar role.

Responsabilités

• Review and follow policies; assist stakeholder inquiries related to Accounts Payable.
• Assemble, verify, and process invoices; allocate expenses to correct accounts.
• Match PO to invoices; enter invoices into Banner; monitor payment status.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions; generate reports and resolve discrepancies.
