Job summary

BEEAH Group in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an Accounts Payable specialist to ensure accurate, timely processing of supplier invoices and strict adherence to internal controls.

You will perform three-way matching, AP reconciliations, month-end closing, and ageing analysis, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams, supporting process improvements and ERP automation.

The role requires 2–5 years of experience and UAE exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• 2–5 years of relevant Accounts Payable or finance experience.
• UAE educational, cultural, or professional exposure desirable.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify supplier invoices, including three-way matching of POs, GRNs, and invoices.
• Prepare AP reconciliations, month-end reports, accruals, payment proposals, and ageing analysis.
• Review advances, open POs, pending invoices, and GRNs; investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations, financial controls, audit standards, and HSE requirements.
• Coordinate with business units, suppliers, consultants, contractors, and intercompany stakeholders; support process automation and continuous improvement.

Job description

To ensure accurate, timely, and compliant processing of Accounts Payable transactions by verifying supplier invoices, reconciling accounts, supporting payment and month-end activities, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining effective financial controls and stakeholder coordination.

Accountabilities

• Process and verify supplier invoices, including three-way matching of purchase orders, goods receipt notes, and invoices.
• Prepare Accounts Payable reconciliations, month-end reports, accruals, payment proposals, cash-flow requirements, and AP ageing analysis within established timelines.
• Review supplier advances, open purchase orders, pending invoices, and GRNs; investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, financial controls, delegated authority, UAE VAT requirements, statutory obligations, audit standards, and HSE requirements.
• Coordinate with business units, suppliers, consultants, contractors, and intercompany stakeholders, including regular operational visits to Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.
• Support finance-process automation, accurate record maintenance, audits, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Two to five years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable, general accounting, finance operations, or a similar finance role.
• UAE educational, cultural, or professional exposure is desirable.

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable processes, invoice verification, three-way matching, supplier reconciliations, accruals, ageing analysis, and month-end closing.
• Sound understanding of financial controls, delegated authority, audit requirements, UAE VAT regulations, and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in ERP and procurement systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or Ariba.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, data analysis, and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to accuracy, detail, confidentiality, and deadlines.
