Job summary

Middle East Retail Group in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced accountant to manage monthly closings, forecasting, budgeting, invoicing and collections with an analytical mindset. The ideal candidate will be organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities include GL accounting, accruals, prepayments, vendor payments, tax computations and ERP support, along with data management and financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5 years of proven experience in accounting roles in UAE.
• Strong understanding of accruals, prepayments, and other accounting principles.
• Proficiency in petty cash management and reconciliation.
• Experience with vendor management and payment processing.
• Ability to handle customer interactions, invoicing, and collection activities.
• Advanced skills in Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
• Understanding of ERP is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
