Job summary

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, 5 years UAE experience, strong Excel skills, ERP knowledge, and a meticulous, numbers-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5 years of proven accounting experience in UAE.
• Strong understanding of accruals and prepayments.
• Proficiency in petty cash management and reconciliation.
• Experience with vendor management and payment processing.
• Excel proficiency for financial analysis and reporting.
• ERP knowledge preferred.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage GL accounting processes and ensure accurate recording of transactions.
• Handle accruals and prepayments per standards.
• Oversee petty cash transactions and reconciliations.
• Manage vendor relationships including payments and discrepancies.
• Conduct financial analysis, reporting, and data management.
• Support ERP system usage and contribute to improvements.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
• Ensure timely bank payments.
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.
• Report on financial health and liquidity.

The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to monthly closing processes, forecasting and budgeting, and customer billing. They will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage GL Accounting processes, ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions.
• Handle accruals and prepayments, maintaining compliance with accounting standards.
• Oversee petty cash transactions, recording all expenditures and reconciling balances.
• Manage vendor relationships, including processing payments and resolving any discrepancies.
• Financial analysis, reporting, and data management.
• Provide support for ERP system usage and contribute to system improvements.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
