Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking an experienced Accountant in the United Arab Emirates to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will handle daily transactions, VAT compliance, ledgers, reconciliations, and monthly closings, ensuring accuracy across vendor and customer accounts.

Responsibilities include preparing reports, bank reconciliations, stock reconciliations, and supporting internal and external audits, while coordinating with branches, suppliers and customers to uphold standard accounting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• 2–3 years of accounting experience
• UAE accounting experience preferred
• Good knowledge of UAE VAT
• Practical experience with Tally or ERP software
• Experience with accounts payable/receivable
• Proficient in bank reconciliations and supplier/customer reconciliation
• Experience in trading, retail, or inventory-based businesses is preferred
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team. The candidate should have good knowledge of accounting principles and practical experience in day-to-day accounting operations. The candidate should be familiar with UAE VAT and accounting software.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting transactions

• Record sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and expenses

• Maintain ledgers, vouchers, invoices, and financial records

• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field

• Minimum of 2 to 3 years of accounting experience

• UAE accounting experience is preferred.

• Good knowledge of UAE VAT.

• Practical experience in Tally or ERP accounting software

• Good knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable

• Experience in bank reconciliation and supplier/customer reconciliation

• Experience in trading, retail, or inventory-based business is preferred

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
