Job summary

Van Leeuwen Buizen Groep in Dubai is looking for a proactive sales professional to develop and execute annual account plans, secure new business and expand existing accounts in piping materials for the Oil & Gas sector and EPC contractors.

You will build strong relationships with senior decision-makers, manage RFQ reviews, supplier sourcing, bid evaluations and contract negotiations, while balancing 30% field visits with 70% office work, supported by SAP-based processes.

Qualifications

• Proactive, outgoing personality with strong communication and customer success focus.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, commerce or engineering.
• 3–5 years of sales experience in piping materials within Oil & Gas and EPC contractors.
• Proven track record in B2B sales and business development.
• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills and ability to build lasting relationships.
• Strong interest in and understanding of technical products and solutions.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and ERP (SAP).
• Based in UAE and holding a UAE driving license.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual account plans aligned with sales targets to secure new business and expand existing accounts.
• Develop strong, long-term relationships with key accounts.
• Monitor, analyse and report account performance against KPIs, provide accurate sales forecasts, and recommend strategic business development initiatives.
• Maintain accurate and complete sales, commercial and project-related documentation.
• Allocate approximately 30% of working time to customer visits and 70% to office-based activities.
• Review RFQ documents to identify material requirements, specifications, applicable standards, and any technical or commercial clarifications required.
• Prepare work-files, manage supplier sourcing and selection, quotation preparation, technical and commercial bid evaluations.
• Negotiate and formalise contracts and service agreements
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely receipt of quotations, technical documents, and supporting information.
• Responsible for processing the Purchase order in SAP and preparing Purchase orders to suppliers and seamless commercial handover to project execution team.
