Job summary

Royal Van Leeuwen in Dubai seeks an experienced sales professional to develop and execute annual account plans, secure new business and expand existing accounts in the oil & gas piping sector.

You will build strong, long‑term relationships with key accounts, monitor KPI performance, provide accurate forecasts, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure bids, contracts and POs are processed smoothly.

Travel ~30% and office-based 70%; UAE-based with driving license required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, commerce or engineering.
• Three to five years of sales experience in piping materials within the Oil & Gas industry and EPC contractors.
• Proven track record in B2B sales and business development.
• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills and ability to build lasting customer relationships.
• Strong interest in and understanding of technical products and solutions.
• Experienced with Microsoft Office suite and ERP (SAP).
• Based in UAE.
• In possession of UAE Driving License.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual account plans aligned with sales targets.
• Develop strong, long-term relationships with key accounts.
• Monitor, analyse and report account performance against KPIs and forecasts.
• Maintain accurate sales, commercial and project-related documentation.
• Allocate approximately 30% of working time to customer visits and 70% to office-based activities.
• Review RFQ documents to identify material requirements and clarifications.
• Prepare work-files, manage supplier sourcing and bid evaluations.
• Negotiate and formalise contracts and service agreements.
• Follow up with suppliers for quotations and documents.
• Process Purchase orders in SAP and handover to project execution team.
