A leading fast food company in South Africa is seeking a Junior Demand Planning Analyst to join its Replenishment team. The role focuses on addressing stock issues, optimizing supplier performance, and managing orders through a replenishment tool. Candidates should have a degree in BCom, Engineering, or Supply Chain and proficiency in Excel. Ideal candidates possess strong analytical skills and a meticulous approach to problem-solving. This opportunity is vital to automating replenishment processes across the company's stores.
Qualifications
- Degree in BCom, Engineering, Supply Chain or a related field.
- Competent in Excel with skills in PIVOTS, VLOOKUPS, and SUMIFS.
Responsabilités
- Investigate reasons for out-of-stock instances.
- Maintain master data such as delivery days and stock item details.
- Conduct analyses on supplier performance and overstocking issues.
- Assist with allocations of new stock items and promotional items.
- Monitor deviations from forecasted usage.
- Develop and implement a Central Ordering system.

We have an opportunity for a Junior Demand Planning Analyst to join our Replenishment team. This position aims to ensure our restaurants remain adequately stocked by using data to investigate stock issues, optimising supplier performance and placing orders using our bespoke replenishment/MRP tool. This role will also contribute to automating replenishment processes for a seamless supply chain.
- Conduct investigations on reasons for out-of-stock instances.
- Maintain master data (delivery days, days target coverage, MRQ’s, suppliers, stock items details etc.)
- Conduct ad hoc analyses/investigations on supplier OTIF performance and overstocking issues.
- Assist with allocations of new stock items and ad hoc allocations for promotional items.
- Monitor deviations from forecasted usage/delivery schedules and take corrective action.
- Assist in developing, implementing and maintaining a Central Ordering system to automate 500+ stores’ replenishment.
- BCom, Engineering, Supply Chain or similar degree.
- Competent in Excel (PIVOTS, VLOOKUPS & SUMIFS).
