We are looking for a dynamic junior account executive to join our team.
We seek an individual committed to business and personal growth, an excellent communicator, and unafraid to present new ideas. An understanding of diverse business sectors across multiple regions is essential, along with the ability to meet deadlines.
This position is within our FDC Connect business unit, which also includes a longstanding white-label partner, Black Marketing. Both offer similar services under different branding.
If successful in the interview, you will be fully employed by FDC, with potential branding as an employee of Black Marketing, working primarily with Southeast Asian clients. Further details will be provided during the interview.
FDC manages personal LinkedIn profiles for founders, C-suite executives, and directors worldwide, supporting lead generation, personal branding, talent acquisition, strategic relationships, and thought leadership content.
Full training will be provided, preparing recruits to manage profiles of senior executives, including board members, CEOs, and directors.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage client accounts across multiple time zones.
- Handle and grow LinkedIn profiles of senior professionals (initially 4, expanding to 6 after training).
- Engage in outreach, content posting (content provided), and account activity to meet KPIs.
- Provide a positive, professional client service experience.
- Build and sustain long-term client relationships.
- Develop personalized communication strategies for clients.
- Set clear objectives and strategies for each client.
- Address challenging client requests and optimize workflows.
- Collaborate cross-functionally within the company to ensure client success.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing accounts.
- Explore growth opportunities within our platform/service offerings.
- Manage onboarding of new clients.
- Ensure timely delivery of work and adherence to deadlines.
Role Requirements
- Experience as an account executive, social media manager, or digital marketing executive in an agency or corporate setting.
- Understanding of personal branding, communication, and marketing.
- Proficiency with MS Office and Google Apps, especially Excel/Sheets and PowerPoint/Slides.
- Experience delivering client-focused solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
- Understanding of clients’ business objectives and consumer behavior.
- Strategic thinking and creative marketing skills.
- Excellent writing and content creation abilities.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Bachelor’s degree, diploma in marketing, or relevant field preferred.
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience.

Starting salary is > R15,000 per month, with a review after six months potentially leading to an increase.
