Description — What You’ll Be Doing
As a
Paid Media Specialist, you will thrive in reaching and engaging vast audiences through innovative advertising. You'll have the autonomy to build and test your ideas, with the opportunity to become a defining force in paid media best practices. Key responsibilities include:
- Full ownership of paid media strategies and production on accounts across entertainment, e-commerce, and more.
- Design, manage, optimise, and scale ad campaigns across various channels on platforms like Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok, Snapchat, and emerging channels.
- Devise full strategies that support the client's key objectives and measurement model.
- Taking the lead on client comms and calls, confidently conveying the value we're adding.
- Collaborate with the paid media team and client account manager for business growth and audience development.
- Craft ad copy, collaborate on creative requirements, and manage tracking.
- Analyse data for insights and opportunities, proposing ad budget allocations.
- Document processes and train colleagues on successful processes.
About You
You’ll thrive here if you:
- You have 3+ years of agency experience in paid social and search advertising, with a passion for excellence and innovation.
- You're strategic and hands-on, able to influence behaviour and drive results at scale.
- You're adept at managing multiple clients and projects, demonstrating agility and a proactive problem solving mindset.
- You possess excellent communication skills, can provide clear reporting, and are committed to continuous learning to stay ahead of industry trends.
- Experience with Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Supermetrics/DataSlayer, conversion tracking, and pixel implementation is a plus.
- Reside (and can legally work) anywhere in South Africa with reliable internet.
What you get
- Salary: R 35 000 - R 65 000 per month before taxes
- Medical Aid: We’ll contribute up to R 3 500/month on top of your salary
- Retirement/GAP top-up: We’ll contribute R 700/month on top of your salary
- Leave: 33 days per year (SA and UK public holidays included).
- Working Hours: Monday - Friday 9am-5.30pm GMT/BST
- Equipment: We’ll provide a MacBook Air and anything else you need to work from home.
