Field Service Supervisor — Earthmoving Equipment
Job summary
A leading equipment maintenance company in Kathu is seeking a qualified Artisan to supervise a skilled team in the repair and maintenance of earthmoving equipment. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant experience, possess excellent leadership and communication skills, and be computer literate. Responsibilities include managing work in progress, ensuring compliance with safety procedures, and reporting on service outputs. A valid driver's license is required for this role.
Qualifications
- Qualified Artisan, preferably as a Diesel Mechanic or Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic.
- Minimum 5 years of experience post-apprenticeship or learnership.
- Experience in a supervisory or team leader role or as a service planner for 2+ years.
Responsibilities
- Supervise a team in maintenance and repair of earthmoving equipment.
- Manage and monitor work in progress effectively.
- Ensure compliance with warranty and safety policies.
