Job summary

A leading security services provider in South Africa is seeking a CCTV Technician to install and maintain CCTV systems. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong fault-finding abilities, self-motivation, and a sound understanding of CCTV technologies and networking. Responsibilities include problem-solving, remote support, and inventory management. PSIRA registration is essential, along with a valid driver’s license. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's licence.
• Must be PSIRA registered (Grade C).
• Knowledge of Listener advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Installing and maintaining CCTV installations.
• Problem solving and linking CCTV systems to monitoring center.
• Testing and fault finding on CCTV systems.
• Keeping an inventory of spares.
