REPORTS TO Section Manager or other professional consultant or any other person appointed to supervise him / her from time to time.

Provide and undertake complex design modelling tasks prepare tender / construction documents provide technical support services in meeting the requirements of the functional group and its clients.

• Modelling and Detailing
• RevitC3D and Bentley implementation for team
• Develop Autodesk templates / Libraries and tools to maintain standards
• Programming within Autodesk (Visual Coding / Automation)
• Quality audit on outgoing drawings
• Standardisation of all drawings on project
• Visualization of 3D models of projects for presentations
• Handling all Autodesk troubleshooting and setting up of interfaces in respective department
• Participating in office technical discussions and project delivery meetings

• Conducting conceptual and detailed design and modelling in order to prepare technical drawings and documentation
• Provide practical and economical solutions to project deliverables
• Applying a deeper understanding of modelling principles to devise and deliver practical and economical solutions to problems
• Maintain a high level of Modelling expertise and engineering knowledge
• Undertake supervisor role and lead on projects
• Contribute to the overall management and profitably of the functional group
• Ensure drawings and documentation are to the highest quality

• Strictly adhere to SMECs Management System (MS) quality standards and OHS procedures
• Introduce Graduate Engineers to in-house standards and the practical application of tasks and construction techniques
• Assist Project Managers with site queries and reporting solutions

• Professional Registration in drawing / modelling (Autodesk certification preferred)
• Minimum of 5 years in similar position
• Some key experience in relevant projects
• Proficiency in Autodesk Bentley or discipline specific software essential
