Primary health care services means managing acute and chronic conditions at a primary level of care. Patients with more complex or uncommon conditions are referred to healthcare professionals or facilities with the skills and resources to provide further investigation and treatment. Occupational Health Care Services means providing professional consultancy services aimed a prevention effort pertaining to health, safety and the environment. It supports employers and employees to monitor the working environment within the company.The successful applicant will be responsible for but not limited to the following job functions : General Medical Care encompassing : Physical examinationsChronic condition management and surveillanceTreating primary level of acute care conditionsErgonomic screen and educationStress screening and burnout careWeight managementFlu and other relevant vaccinationsFamily planning : Education and monitoringPregnancy testsHPV screeningContraceptionDispensing : Within the defined legislationEmergency injectablesTreating acute conditions in line with the essential medicine listPre and Post Prophylactic treatmentPerforming screening tests and procedures : Pap smearsPregnancy testsHIV testingUrinary analysisBlood Pressure measurementsGlucoseCholesterolHaemoglobin testsInterpreting blood resultsPhlebotomy on a case-by-case basisReferralsFacilitate virtual dial in sessions with General PractitionersRefer complex medical cases for further investigative tests, GP or Specialist consultationEmergency referrals to hospital or emergency roomMedication management ensuring medication is safely stored, levels are monitored and ordered when required.
