Job summary
A leading educational institution in Stellenbosch is seeking a Financial Accountant. The ideal candidate will hold an accounting qualification and have at least 3 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include preparing annual budgets, handling audits, and managing cash flow. This role requires the candidate to be willing to travel and manage admin staff.
Qualifications
- Accounting qualification with preferably completed SAICA/CIMA clerkship.
- 3 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Honours degree advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of annual budgets for certain entities.
- Preparation and handling of annual audit.
- Monthly reporting of selective entities.
- Establishment of controls to monitor expenses.
- Monthly variance reports.
- Management of admin staff.
- Control over allocation of expenses per entity.
- Responsible for all tax and statutory requirements.
- Cash flow management per entity.
