Placements24 is seeking a Well Intervention Specialist in Kimberley to optimize mature wells. You will plan and execute intervention campaigns, ensure integrity and performance, and lead multi-disciplinary teams in a safety‑conscious environment.

The role requires a petroleum engineering background and 6+ years of hands-on experience in well interventions, with proficiency in wireline and coiled tubing operations and production diagnostics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 6+ years of experience in well intervention or workover operations.
• Strong understanding of wellbore integrity, completion designs, and production optimization.
• Proficiency in planning and executing wireline and coiled tubing operations.
• Experience with production logging and well diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and execute well intervention operations including P&A, workovers, and completions.
• Assess wellbore conditions and production performance to identify opportunities for intervention.
• Manage the selection and deployment of tools, equipment, and services.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and procedures during interventions.
• Monitor intervention progress, troubleshoot issues, and report outcomes.
• Coordinate with drilling, production, and HSE teams for seamless execution.
