About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled Well Intervention Engineer to join their team in Randburg . This role focuses on planning, executing, and monitoring a variety of well intervention operations designed to maintain or enhance production and ensure well integrity. You will be responsible for selecting appropriate tools and techniques, managing risks, and ensuring the safety and efficiency of all operations. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with specialized knowledge in well services to contribute to optimizing hydrocarbon recovery and asset longevity within the South African energy sector, working closely with production and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and design well intervention operations, including wireline, coiled tubing, and snubbing.


• Develop detailed procedures and risk assessments for all intervention activities.


• Select and manage vendors and equipment for intervention campaigns.


• Oversee operations on-site or remotely, ensuring adherence to plans and safety standards.


• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues encountered during intervention operations.


• Analyze post-operation data and prepare comprehensive reports on performance and lessons learned.

Requirements
