Qualifications

About the Role

Our client, a major operator in the Oil & Gas industry , is seeking a skilled Well Intervention Specialist to join their team in Kimberley . This role is crucial for maintaining and enhancing production from existing wells through the planning and execution of various intervention activities. You will be responsible for assessing well performance, recommending appropriate intervention strategies, and overseeing their execution to ensure safety, efficiency, and asset integrity. This position offers a hands‑on role in optimizing production and extending the life of mature fields within the South African energy landscape .

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and execute well intervention operations, including P&A, workovers, and completions.
• Assess wellbore conditions and production performance to identify opportunities for intervention.
• Manage the selection and deployment of relevant tools, equipment, and services.
• Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and operational procedures during interventions.
