Placements24 is seeking a skilled Well Intervention Engineer to support offshore and onshore operations from Mossel Bay, Western Cape. You will plan, design, and execute well interventions including workovers, P&A, and artificial lift installations, collaborating with drilling, production, and reservoir teams to optimize asset performance.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in well intervention, with strong knowledge of wellbore

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in well intervention, workover, or completions.
• Strong knowledge of wellbore mechanics, downhole tools, and well control.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed well intervention programs, including scope, procedures, and risk assessments.
• Select appropriate equipment and services for workover, completion, and P&A operations.
• Oversee the execution of intervention campaigns, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational plans.
• Troubleshoot operational issues encountered during intervention activities.
• Analyze post-intervention data to evaluate effectiveness and optimize future operations.
