Job summary

MSX is seeking a Warranty Clerk to support the automotive warranty process in Pretoria. You will research warranty concerns, prepare papers, review claims, and ensure timely authorisation and compliance with OEM specifications.

Ideal candidates have 3-5 years in the automotive sector, experience as a Service Advisor or Warranty Clerk, and familiarity with DMS systems such as Automate, Evolve or Kerridge. Ford experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience as Service Advisor, Warranty Clerk or technical background in motor industry.

Responsibilities

• Perform research on warranty concerns and prepare/customise warranty papers.
• Review warranty claims, administer and submit for warranty approval.
• Monitor repair order completion for authorisation as per warranty requirement.
• Monitor customer inquiries on warranty issues.
• Communicate warranty programs and bulletins to aftersales staff.
• Ensure compliance with warranty specifications.
• Evaluate databases and complete data entry for warranty claims.
• Manage warranty claim submissions and resubmissions as required.
• Prepare documents for warranty audits per OEM recommendations.
• Maintain a warranty parts store per OEM specifications.
• Keep records of customer details and warrantor references.

Job description

• Communicate to all aftersales staff all warranty programs and bulletins in a timely manner


• Ensure compliance to all warranty specifications.

• Manage all warranty claim submission, resubmit claims if required and ensure appropriate action is completed.


• Prepare documents for all warranty audits as per OEM recommendation


• Manage and upkeep of a warranty parts store in line with OEM manufacturers specification


• Maintain records of customer details and warrantor references.


• Minimum 3 - 5 years' experience in the automotive industry


• Work experience as a Service Advisor, Warranty Clerk or Technical background in the motor industry


• DMS experience (Automate,Evolve,ADP/kerridge) will be an advantage


• Experience with Ford is preferred
