Job summary

MSX International is seeking an experienced Warranty Specialist for locations in Walvis Bay/Oshakati/Otjiwarongo, Namibia. The role focuses on researching warranty concerns, reviewing and submitting claims, and ensuring compliance with warranty specifications across aftersales.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in the automotive industry, prior service advisor or warranty clerk experience, and familiarity with DMS systems (Automate/Evolve/ADP Kerridge). Ford experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in the automotive industry.
• Experience as a Service Advisor or Warranty Clerk.
• DMS experience with Automate/Evolve/ADP Kerridge is advantageous; Ford experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Research warranty concerns and prepare customised warranty papers.
• Review warranty claims and submit for approval.
• Monitor repair orders for authorisation per warranty requirements.
• Handle customer inquiries on warranty issues.
• Inform aftersales staff about warranty programs and bulletins in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with warranty specifications.
• Enter data for warranty claims and filings.
• Manage warranty claim submissions and resubmissions as needed.
• Prepare documents for warranty audits per OEM recommendations.
• Maintain a warranty parts store in line with OEM specifications.
• Keep records of customer details and warrantor references.

Job Description

• Perform research on warranties concerns, prepare / customise warranty papers for work.
• Review all warranty claims, administer and submit for warranty approval.
• Monitor repair order completion for authorisation as per warranty requirement.
• Monitor all customer inquiries and requests on warranty issues.
• Communicate to all aftersales staff all warranty programs and bulletins in a timely manner
• Ensure compliance to all warranty specifications.
• Evaluate databases and complete all data entry for warranty claims and filings.
• Manage all warranty claim submission, resubmit claims if required and ensure appropriate action is completed.
• Prepare documents for all warranty audits as per OEM recommendation
• Manage and upkeep of a warranty parts store in line with OEM manufacturers specification
• Maintain records of customer details and warrantor references.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 - 5 years’ experience in the automotive industry
• Work experience as a Service Advisor, Warranty Clerk or Technical background in the motor industry
• DMS experience (Automate,Evolve,ADP/kerridge) will be an advantage
• Ford experienced preferred
