Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Cape Town to support the management team and lead warehouse Associates, MHE operators, and general workers in daily operations. You will ensure on-time picking, loading, and inventory accuracy while driving KPI performance and safety compliance.

You will manage workloads, coach staff, and coordinate with the management team to meet customer targets and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent required; relevant degree preferred.
• 3+ years in warehouse or supply chain operations, 2-3 years in supervision.
• MS Excel, WMS platforms and warehouse reporting tools knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the daily workflow of Inventory and outbound floor, ensuring orders are received, picked and loaded.
• Oversee Inventory Management, stock control and attention to detail.
• Train, schedule, and evaluate outbound and Inventory staff; foster a safe, productive environment.
• Track orders to ensure picking, invoicing and loading are on time; ensure stock is moved accurately.
• Audit stock picked to guarantee 100% order fulfilment and inventory accuracy.
• Maintain 5S and safety compliance; ensure reports are up-to-date and communicated.
