Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to support the Management Team with day-to-day warehouse operations in Cape Town. You will lead a team of Associates, MHE operators, cycle counters and general workers to deliver accurate order processing and efficient inventory control.

You will oversee inventory management, ensure safety compliance, and drive adherence to 5S and company policies while maintaining daily reports and KPI targets.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent is required; a degree in coordination, business administration or supply chain management is highly preferred.
• 3+ years in warehouse or supply chain operations with 2–3 years in a supervisory role.
• Proficient in MS Excel, WMS platforms and warehouse reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily workflow of Inventory and outbound floor to ensure orders are received, picked, loaded and movements are accurate.
• Lead and train outbound and Inventory staff; foster a safe, accountable, and productive work environment.
• Monitor KPIs and ensure 99.9% on-time performance and 100% inventory accuracy.
