Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to support the Management Team in day-to-day warehouse operations. You will lead a group of Associates, MHE operators, cycle counters and general workers to meet target KPIs and quality standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating daily workflows, inventory and outbound processes, staff training and performance monitoring. Strong communication and leadership in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent; a degree in coordination, business administration or supply chain management is highly preferred.
• 3+ years in warehouse or supply chain operations, with 2-3 years in a supervisory role.
• Proficient in MS Excel, WMS platforms and warehouse reporting tools.
• Ability to stand, walk and lift heavy items in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the daily workflow of the Inventory and outbound floor, ensuring orders are received, picked and loaded accurately.
• Oversee inventory management, stock control and attention to detail.
• Lead, train, schedule and evaluate outbound and inventory staff; foster a safe and productive environment.
• Monitor KPIs and ensure on-time delivery and accuracy targets are met.
• Ensure proper use of warehouse systems and timely reporting of results.
