Job summary

Humankind Group in Cape Town is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to oversee day-to-day warehouse operations within the Commodities division. You will coordinate activities, supervise the packing team, maintain stock records and ensure the efficient flow from receiving through to packing and dispatch.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in warehouse operations, strong leadership and experience with warehouse management systems, with a hands-on approach and a focus on accuracy and deadlines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehouse operations and inventory control experience.
• Experience supervising a packing team.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Proficient with stock/warehouse management systems.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities.
• Oversee inbound materials receiving and handling.
• Direct packing operations and warehouse team.
• Maintain accurate stock control and records.
• Oversee dispatch of finished product.
• Conduct regular stock checks and resolve variances.
• Ensure safety, housekeeping and operational standards.
