Qualifications

Responsibilities

About the Role

Our client, a rapidly growing e-commerce retailer, is seeking a proactive and experienced Warehouse Operations Lead to oversee daily activities at their fulfillment center in Sandton, Gauteng. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient order processing, accurate inventory management, and smooth dispatch operations. The Lead will be responsible for guiding a team of warehouse associates, implementing operational best practices, and contributing to the continuous improvement of fulfillment processes. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse associates in picking, packing, and shipping operations.
• Ensure efficient workflow and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Monitor inventory accuracy and assist in cycle counts and stocktaking processes.
• Maintain a safe and organized working environment, enforcing safety policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification or diploma in logistics or operations is a plus.
• 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in e-commerce fulfillment.
• Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of warehouse processes, including picking, packing, shipping, and inventory management.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to motivate and lead a team effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
