• Proven experience in volunteer management, community engagement, or human resources.
• Demonstrated success in recruiting and retaining volunteers.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and build positive relationships.
• Experience in program planning and budget management.
• Proficiency in relevant software for record-keeping and communication.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement strategies for recruitment, screening, and onboarding of new volunteers.
• Create and deliver comprehensive training programs covering policies, procedures, and roles.
• Match volunteers' skills with opportunities within the organization.
• Supervise, mentor, and provide ongoing support to volunteers.
• Organize and facilitate volunteer appreciation events and activities.
• Maintain accurate volunteer records, including hours and training.
• Develop and manage the volunteer program budget.
• Collaborate with program staff to identify volunteer needs and roles.
• Promote the volunteer program within the KwaZulu-Natal community.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and organizational policies for volunteers.
