Placements24 is seeking a dynamic Program Manager to lead community support initiatives in Durban. This hybrid role focuses on strategic direction, implementation, and evaluation of programs for vulnerable populations, balancing remote work with essential in-person collaboration.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in nonprofit program management, strong leadership and budget skills, and a deep commitment to social impact within KwaZulu-Natal.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive program management experience in the non-profit sector.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, staff, and complex projects.
• Strong understanding of community needs and best practices in social service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, execution, and monitoring of community support programs.
• Manage program budgets, resources, and operational efficiency.
• Lead and mentor a team of program staff.
• Develop and maintain relationships with community stakeholders and partners.
• Implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess impact.
• Prepare regular progress reports for leadership and funders.
